Birmingham City: Our 2023/24 Season In Review

There is only one team in Birmingham worth supporting with true passion and Birmingham City is it.  I have been supporting them since 1978 when Jim Smith was the manager.  He is my favourite manager to date.  I am a blue nose ’til I die.

On Thursday the 13th of July 2023, Knighthead Capital Management L.L.C, through Shelby Companies Limited, took responsibility for all operations of the Club and it is important not to lose sight of the progress that has been made and the lessons learned.  It has been quite a year, on and off the pitch.

Tom Wagner, Garry Cook et al. have done wonders for Blues since their arrival and have developed a bond between the club and fans that has sadly been missing since the takeover of Carson Yeung and Grandtop International Holdings Limited back in July, 2007.

Despite us being relegated to League One at the end of the 2023/24 season, there is a true sense of belief, hope and positiveness for the 2024/25 season that Blues fans have not felt for a LONG TIME.

Now, AT LAST, we can look forward to the glory days of Premiership football with owners who care about Birmingham City and its supporters for once.

You can check out the full 2023/24 review and download the document here.  It comes in P.D.F. format.  If you don’t have a P.D.F. reader you can download one from here
